Golowan
Friday 16th to Sunday 25th June 2006
Golowan (the feast of St. John) combines the local and the global with a heady mix of Cornish and world music, dance, film and literature. On Mazey Day (June 24th) the town is transformed with greenery, banners, street theatre and processions of giant imagery.

Lafrowda Day
St Just in Penwith - Saturday 15th July 2006 - 11.00 am to midnight
Join the people of St Just for this unique community celebration, where Cornish traditions and modern creativity fuse to provide the high spot of the week-long Lafrowda Festival. With thirteen hours of free entertainment, music to suit every taste, and huge animated sculptures stalking through the town, there’s fun for all the family. All this and street theatre, children’s activities, stalls, refreshments and free parking. Detailed plans for 2006 - the tenth Lafrowda Day are under wraps, but this year’s theme will be announced shortly.

Sea, Salts & Sail - Moushole
Friday 14 - Sunday 16 July
Join with us to rekindle the spirit of former times in the ancient and picturesque fishing village of Mousehole for the sixth Biennial Maritime Festival.
See close at hand traditional fishing and crafts. Watch traditional trades of the sea such as pot-making and rope splicing demonstrated around the harbour. Visit an ancient Net Loft and Pilchard Press. Full details of events, entertainment and how to participate can be found on website.

Hayle Fest
Sunday 30th July to Sunday 6th August 2006
This is a real community week with male voice choirs, a horticultural show, a Churches Together service, brass band concerts and marches, a Flea Market and two Fun Days - one of them a fundraiser for St Julia's Hospice. With the Summer Carnival on August 5th, the festival offers something for visitors and locals.

Newlyn Fish Festival
Monday 28th August 2006
A festival to celebrate Newlyn as a major fishing port. The fish market is filled with stalls, cookery demonstrations, exhibitions, music, street entertainment and displays about the fishing industry past and present.

St Ives September Festival
Saturday 9th to Saturday 23rd September 2006
St Ives hosts a major two week Festival of Music and the Arts with a wide variety of events including roots/jazz/blues, classical, theatre, films, poetry and literature, and open studios at venues throughout the town.
