New self guide trail leaflets for Levant and Botallack mines
As part of the St Just Heritage Area regeneration project new leaflets have been produced to help people explore the dramatic remains of these fascinating mining heritage sites both now owned and maintained by the National Trust. Paper copies of the leaflets are available for free at Botallack and Levant and at other outlets in the area such as St Just TIC but if you want to read about the sites before you visit download a copy here:

At Botallack make sure you leave some time to visit the Count House Workshop at Botallack (free admittance, open daily 10-4 unless events are being held, call 01736 788588 to check) to see new the displays, film and photographic exhibition about the St Just area which have also been funded by the St Just Heritage Area regeneration project. Family activity trails are also being developed for Botallack and Levant and will shortly be available on site.

The best walking and bird-watching territory amongst ancient moorland sites and the magnificent South West coast path and – for hardened walkers – an ideal starting point for a trek to John o’Groats!
Outstanding attractions...The Minack open air theatre, perched above clear turquoise sea, and St Michael’s Mount near Penzance, are only 20 minutes away.
